Why this form is sent
The register records pollutant releases to air from each source β from measurements where they exist, and from operating and fuel data where they do not. The data supports national emission inventories and inspection.
When it applies
The source must belong to the facility and be active. For this group, NRIZ must also set a measurement obligation on the source. Until that is done, Create is not available.
One form exists per company, facility, source, and year.
What to fill in
- General β company, facility, year, air source, statement of responsibility.
- Additional data β operating hours and source parameters.
- Fuels β fuels burned at the source.
- Air emissions β measured values and the annual balance of pollutants.
- Note β optional explanation.
Specifics
Where continuous monitoring is not available, annual amounts can be calculated from fuel use and emission factors, following Agency methodology. Measurement rows and the yearly balance must describe the same source and year.
